Igor Rada, oil on canvas, 50 x 61 cm. We've been friends for the last 42 years, we first glimpsed each other on the cruise ship Canberra, on a four week journey to Canada in 1967. We really met in Montreal later that year when he and a few others came from Toronto to have a look at Expo 67. We have had to work at our friendship, both of us are not easy to get along with, but he is teaching me to embrace the un-embraceable. This painting began so that I might look at Igor and myself in a better light.
It is working, we are both improving.
